i. Linking and Redirecting to Instagram 

 

a. On our website, you will find a link in the form of an icon to the social media platform Instagram. It is not a plugin provided by Instagram that automatically transfers data when loading the page. Instead, it is merely an external link that redirects you to the Instagram platform. No user data is transmitted from our website to Instagram.

 

b. Notice on Redirecting: 

Clicking the Instagram icon will first display an intermediate page informing you that you are leaving our website and being redirected to the external platform Instagram. 

Only after your confirmation will the redirection to Instagram occur.

 

c. Data Processing by Instagram: 

If you are already logged into your Instagram account, it will be recognized upon clicking the link, and you will be directed to our Instagram profile. 

If you are not logged in, you will first be prompted to log in.

Please note that Instagram may store and process personal data outside the European Union. This may lead to a different legal situation that does not correspond to the standards of the GDPR. c. Data Processing by Instagram: 

Instagram collects and processes users' personal data for market research and advertising purposes.

e. Integration of Google Maps

 

Our website uses the Google Maps service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). 

To protect your privacy rights, Google Maps is not automatically loaded on our website. The map is activated only when you give your explicit consent to display Google Maps.

3. Data Storage and Deletion:

4. Note on Deactivation of Google Maps:

Our website uses the WIX Chatbot, a function of WIX.com Ltd., Namal 40, 6350671 Tel Aviv, Israel. The chatbot enables you to contact us directly through our website.

 

What Data is Collected?

When using the chatbot, the following personal data is processed:

- Email address (required)

- Phone number (required)

- Chat contents (sent messages)

- Date and time of interaction

 

These data are processed to respond to inquiries and facilitate quick communication with you.

 

How are the Data Processed and Stored?

1. Transmission via Email:

The data entered in the chatbot are forwarded via email to kontakt@yachtservice-peenemuende.de.

This ensures we can respond to your inquiry even outside the chatbot.

 

2. Forwarding to WhatsApp:

Additionally, the data entered can be forwarded to our corporate WhatsApp account (linked to the owner's mobile number) to ease communication.

WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms Inc. and is subject to their privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea.

 

3. Storage in the Wix Backend:

Chat histories are automatically stored in the Wix backend and can be viewed, managed, and deleted by us there.

WIX.com stores these data on its servers located in various data centers worldwide (including the EU and USA).

The data can be viewed, edited, and deleted within the Wix dashboard.

 

Legal Basis for Processing:

The processing of personal data in the chatbot is based on:

- Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent) - Your voluntary data entry represents consent.

- Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract performance or pre-contractual measures) – If communication is necessary for a business inquiry or a contract.

- Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest) – We have a legitimate interest in efficient and quick communication with our users.

 

Duration of Storage:

Chat histories stored in the Wix backend are regularly reviewed and deleted no later than 12 months unless longer storage is required to fulfill legal obligations.

Emails with chat histories are removed following communication in accordance with our internal deletion policies.

 

Data Security and Transfer to Third Countries:

As WIX.com uses worldwide server locations, personal data may be processed outside the EU, particularly in the USA and Israel.

WIX.com is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

Data transfers to third countries are conducted based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
